" If you have the desire for knowledge and the power to give it physical expression, go out and explore...if you march your winter journey you will have your reward, so long as all you want is a penguin's egg." Apsley-Cherry-Gerrard.
My winter's journey began in Antarctica. On a rocky cliff at Bailey's Head I met my first chinstrap penguin and focused my new camera to record that magical moment. With that simple action, my life took a surprising and wondrous turn. Photography became my passion and the way in which I view the world changed forever. The adventures continue, and in these galleries, I hope to share a small part of the wonders I have seen through my little viewfinder.
May these images bring a smile and may they remind us all of just how precious is our planet and all its creatures and creations.
